Janome memorycraft 9000

Does anyone know of anyone who holds classes or will do a one to one to show me the basics of this machine. I'm not very good with manuals or DVD's I live on the Wirral in the Northwest.

I have this machine but I am in Widnes not on the Wirral. I travel to the Wirral a fair bit for classes but as its a big machine I don't lug it about much.

If you are stuck getting help locally I could arrange to call to help.

I'm another in the 9000 club
Janome school of sewing used to do a 1 day familiarisation course which you got for "free" when you bought the machine new ....but this was a LONG while ago. I shouldn't think they do that now, or run 9000 courses. However I do still have the workbook they went through on the day so I'm sure we can have a good go at answering your questions between us and the workbook.

Another Janome 9000 fan and owner here. The stitching quality is great, in fact it's an excellent machine but such a pity that Janome discontinued it and the support.
The embroidery cards or scan'n'sew units are like hens teeth to find. Even so, I've kept mine because I love how it sews.

Sorry everyone its the memorycraft 9700 I've got. Bought it about 18 months ago and because I work fulltime don't use it enough to remember the ins and outs of it. Have only managed names and thats as far as I've got.
