Default Re: Starting little girls sewing!

My daughter was 8 last week and I bought her a mini sewing machine....She loves it!

She bought herself a 'toy' sewing machine out of her christmas money a year ago and I was horrified at how rubbish it was.It was incredibly noisy, very very slow, the stitch was untidy and there is no way on earth you can change the needle in it when it becomes blunt or breaks.
However, she liked using it occasionally and when I saw this mini one advertised before Christmas, she showed an interest...
I also gave her a sewing box with pieces of fabric to play with,a few threads and other girly accessories such as sequins, beads, lace and ribbon.

It's not a bad machine.I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it,and best of all for my daughter.....

It's pale pink!
