opps spelling mistake on a quilt

I embroidered a baby blanket for a present for a colleague of DH's. I was told the surname was spelt incorrectly, so did another one, as unpicking from fleece is very difficult, and I had someone picking it up to take out to him later that day. Then they said the first name was spelt incorrectly - who gave DH the spelling - the baby's dad! There were a few choice words said, but they said it didn't matter they loved it anyway
