embroidery thread-smd

Hi chris. That looks like a very nice SM. I have a Janome MC11000, which is SM plus embroidery. Your machine description seems to have similar features, minus the embroidery.

I am very happy with my machine. I use all kinds of thread brands. I started out using Gutterman and Sulky. I have also used Coats and have no trouble with it. I won't buy the no name bargain bin spools. I also discarded or gave away all spools that I had accumulated over the years that I knew were old. I don't use embroidery thread for general sewing.

Oh, be sure to pay attention to the right kind of bobbins when you purchase extras. I have found that my local chain store does not carry bobbins for Janome. They are available online. I have bought extra packs from my SMD.
