I quite like cross stitcher too (and they're one of the cheaper mags)

They can be a bit 'flowery' or 'cutesy' but those are usually mixed in with some other nice stuff. This months edition has a chocolate tea cake pattern! (marshmallow and chocolate biscuit thing? Cannot recall the proper name but happy childhood memory!)
