Default Fake fur in the rain/snow?

I bought a fake fur coat from a vintage shop in glasgow last year it's very snuggly and lovely in freezing cold weather, however I get nervous wearing it and therefore don't wear it as much as I'd like to as I'm not sure if I can wear it in the rain (or occasionally snow) which tend to come with our winters! there's no labels on it to give me any indcations

Does anyone know? Am i being over paranoid and could i wear it if there's gonna be snow or rain or should i just leave it at home?
